Best Las Vegas Vacations

hey im going to my first race next year and i live in las vegas so i have two plausible track choices California or Las Vegas and i dont really want to spend the money to go to both of them

which one is a better place to watch a race in your opinion?
the one who convinces me either way gets 10 pts
it would be either the second or third race of the year and then ill go to pheonix during the chase next year
lol even though im leanin toward cali right now, even if i dont go to las vegas motor speedway ill still go to the casinos lol maybe i run into tony stewart eating at a buffet lol

I went to a race in VEGAS last year. It was awesome. I would like to go again this year because they are completely remodeling the infield. I recently saw a rendering and the infiled will be set up so that you can see down into the garages. I would tell you to go to Vegas- since you live there, you don’t have to spend money on the hotel or flight so use the money you would have spent on that and get a pit pass so that you can take advantage of the new infield. Also Qualifying and practice day, is a good day to have pit passes. The drivers are more laid back.

My five year old is interested in racing go karts and I have absolutely know idea how to get him started, what he would need, the cost involved, what to expect etc… any good websites for research or anyone with knowledge on the subject would be good

www.cheaptickets.com and www.hotwire.com are the best websites for cheap tickets. If you need a hotel, you can combine the ticket and hotel costs and it’s cheaper that way. Good luck and have fun in Vegas!!

I know he died because I watched the race and I know what happened. I know the race didn’t end and his number 77 was the only one on the scoreboard.
I know this dosent really matter since we lost a great driver today. But who was the Indycar Champion and did Dan Wheldon win the Las Vegas race.?

There are many places which offer a combination of indoor kart racing, arcade, bar and grill and also meeting/conference rooms for businesses.
Where and how did this trend start with using the sport of indoor kart racing as a place for business meetings?

There are lots of such places. A lot of business people find that burning off the competition and then having a meeting, is very productive and it can be used to entice involvement in these meetings. It originally started when the owner of an electric supply business with a large warehouse facility brought his kids go karts to work and ran them around the warehouse, then challenged the other management to races that lead to "dropping" the guard and good business conversations ensued. It then became a monthly get together and other managers started buying their own karts to beat the others and later their profit margins increased. The owner started giving motivation talks to other business owners and invited them to participate in the indoor race challenge. Now the group of managers that started racing for fun before meetings owns and runs a chain of indoor race tracks. NAHHH! I made it all up, but that is how these things start up, but no one has the exact point in time where and when it started. But I had you glued to the story.

I want to give away at least 100 free vacations each month to Las Vegas and another 50 each month to Orlando. This would be part of a timeshare promotion. The guests must meet minimum age and income qualifications and attend a resort tour.

Hi. I am 13 and i want to get into go kart racing. I want to get sponsored and go to being European champion. I have some experience but i want more anyone who can help ?

your a little too late kid. It takes years and years of racing experience before you can become competitive for championship titles. I’m 14 and I’ve been racing since i was around 8 years old. This is the first year ever that I have been in the running for the points championship over here in the US. Also, sponsorships are very rare in karting, and nearly impossible to get. Unless your winning in the Rotax World Finals, you probably wont get sponsored.

However, it doesn’t hurt to drive for recreational purposes. In that case, you can feel free to purchase a kart and motor based on your age and the class you wish to race. Then, you can begin racing at any level you feel competitive at, weather it be local, regional, national, or worlds. The higher up you get, the more serious (and expensive) the racing is. Racing the European circuit on a competitive team usually costs somewhere around 100,000 a year, so good luck.
